Voices From The Glasgow Central Fire- Monologues
Dive into powerful stories and raw emotions as voices bring the Glasgow Central Fire to life in a gripping monologue night.
The Glasgow Playwrights Collective is a vibrant collective of playwrights dedicated to developing bold new work through a season of workshops, collaboration, and creative exchange. This year, the group presents a powerful series of original monologues inspired by the Glasgow Central Station fire, giving voice to untold stories, imagined witnesses, and the human moments that emerge in the shadow of tragedy. Raw, moving, and deeply rooted in Glasgow’s history, these pieces showcase the power of theatre to remember, reflect, and connect.

Clowns are an often misunderstood phenomenon, reduced to circus jugglers with squirty flowers or tiny cars.
But the art of clown has a broad and complex history spanning centuries. And its experiencing a powerful resurgence today.
At its heart, clowning is about presence, vulnerability and the courage to fail beautifully.
This offers a brilliant tool for performers.
Join us for a series of workshops exploring the world of clown. Through playful, practical exercises, we’ll create a supportive space to explore, take risks - and begin discovering your inner clown.
This is a series of 3 workshops. Join us for a single workshop, or sign up for all three!
£20 per session or £50 for all 3
